‘Island’ is the result of a second collab as MAJINGGOL & DE BOER. Me and Ugo Majinggol present a conceptual poetry painting installation. A  story about the right to build an existence where life has taken you. We take you around in a panoramic view from island to the sea. The installation includes night and day, safety and danger, and a fishing net that both connects and can entangle you. The installation was specially made for the BIGart event at Het Slotervaart in Amsterdam.
